The Village is undertaking this major improvement as it provides many benefits to our community and residents. The benefits below relate to various stages of the project:
- The primary benefit of this project is to significantly reduce basement sewer flooding.
- This project will also address street flooding within the project area.
- Over 1,600 residential households will directly benefit from this project.
- The project will reduce health risks through the reduction of mold and sewage backups.
- Property values will increase.
